VEHICLE CRASH: Fiery Crash in West LA leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured
November 28, 2010West Los Angeles – At least one person was killed while another was seriously injured early Sunday in a single vehicle accident in West Los Angeles, an official of the fire department said.
According to reports by the Los Angeles fire department, the accident took place at around 3:49 am along Centinela Avenue at Pearl Street.
Firefighters found a vehicle split into two pieces, one of which has burst into flames. They also found a male teenager lying meters away from the crash. It appeared he was ejected from the vehicle.
While putting out the fire, firefighters discovered another male teenager inside the charred part of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Officials are yet to identify what object split the vehicle into two. They also found it difficult to distinguish the model and type of the burnt car.
