MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash in Oildale

Oildale – A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries Wednesday night after a collision with an SUV at Sequoia Drive and Belle Avenue in Oildale, the Kern County Sheriff’s County said.
According to reports, 23-year-old Michael Anthony Chavez of Bakersfield was travelling on Sequoia Drive and Belle Avenue at around 6 pm when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into an SUV.
Chavez was brought to a nearby hospital and later died. Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV was uninjured.
