Police Requests for Public's Assistance in Investigating Hit-and-Run Accident

El Cajon - Police has asked for public’s help in investigating a hit-and-run accident that left a bicyclist suffering from critical injuries along a sidewalk.
According to authorities, a 47-yeay-old bicyclist was travelling on East Madison Avenue when he was hit by a vehicle.
The vehicle was described by witnesses as dark, probably maroon, 1990s General Motors car model that is comparable to a Pontiac Grand Am or a Buick.
Police said the vehicle will most probably have sustained damage to its windshield or front end.
The victim was brought to a hospital under a critical condition.
