Santa Ana Police Investigates Pedestrian Accident in Fountain Valley

Fountain Valley, C.A. – Santa Ana police are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian who was hospitalized after she was struck by a car.
Santa Ana police officer Gerardo Rodarte was informed by witnesses that the pedestrian was running across Euclid Street when she was struck by a Camry traveling along Edinger Avenue. The woman hit the vehicle’s left windshield and fender.
She suffered cuts and was brought to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center. The vehicle’s male driver was also brought to the hospital because he was complaining of chest pains, said Rodarte.
The investigation is being done by Santa Ana police because the accident occurred on the border of both cities.
Police did not reveal who was at fault in the incident.
