CAR ACCIDENT: Suspected Drunken Driver Arrested after Passenger Dies in Simi Valley Solo Crash

Simi Valley - A 33-year-old suspected drunken driver has been arrested after a single car accident which ended the life of his male passenger, said reports.
The driver Kenny Perez, from Los Angeles, was traveling west along Alamo Street when he suddenly moved through an intersection on Erringer Road and clipped off a fire hydrant.
Reports said Perez then hit a block wall near the Canyon Club Villas townhomes.
The passenger William Donald Carrott, 31, from Simi Valley, died at the accident area.
Results of the autopsy indicated that he was killed due to blunt force abdominal and chest injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver was brought to a hospital with a minor head injury. He was then arrested on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter, said reports.
