Two Die in Interstate Hit-and-Run Accident

Richmond, CA - Two people died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Interstate 80 last Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the victims - a 58-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man - were driving through the Bay Area community when they were hit by a Honda around 4 a.m.
Because of the impact, their Mercedes ended up in the far left lane and was struck two more times while the Honda ended up on the right shoulder.
The two victims apparently left their vehicle and were standing in traffic lanes when a car hit and killed them and then fled from the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
