Hit and Run Female Offender Gets Nine Months

Santa Ana - A 75 year old woman who formerly denied killing another elderly woman in a hit and run accident was found guilty the other day. She was convicted for felony hit and run and vehicular manslaughter for nine months in jail.
Superior Court Judge David Thompson said she was deemed guilty the previous month. There was a lack of remorse of what she did which apparently happened in front of a catholic church in Placentia.
Her licensed was confiscated by the California Department of Motor Vehicles after the accident. The victim, Jessie Pound, died 30 minutes after the accident. The victim sustained serious injuries to her brain and lungs.
