Man crashes onto big rig, gets Injured

Riverdale, CA –A man was seriously injured after crashing onto a big rig on Mount Whitney Avenue Friday.
Albert Tafoya, 26, was driving westbound on Mount Whitney Avenue east of Bryan Avenue in his 2002 Pontiac when he drifted into oncoming traffic, hitting the truck’s right side at around 4 a.m. the California Highway Patrol said.
Tafoya sustained severe injuries and was taken by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center while the truck driver did not sustain any injuries.
Police officers are still investigating the case.
