MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT: Marine Killed in Ramona Motorcycle Crash

Ramona - A 27-year-old Marine was killed in a motorcycle crash in Highland Valley Road on Monday at 1 pm.
According to CHP officers, Mark Paul Thompson was riding his motorcycle with two other motorcyclists when he lost control on the wheels upon approaching a curve at 16000 block of Highland Valley Road. Thompson crashed onto an oak tree, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Reports said that the strong impact caused his helmet to come off, resulting to fatal head injuries.
Rescuers and paramedics arrived at the scene, but pronounced him dead at 1:14 after attempts of revival failed.
Thompson was an active duty Marine at the time of accident and was married.
