Passenger killed in Multiple Car Crash

Fresno - A Visalia man was killed in a four-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon at Road 68 on Highway 198.
Shane Robert Travioli, 31, was riding with Jay Gates, 24, eastbound of Highway 198 when it struck a northbound vehicle. The impact sent Gate’s vehicle crashing into a westbound tractor-trailer rig driven by Jose Mendoza, 26, of Hanford, the California Highway Patrol said.
The northbound vehicle driven by Donald Huey, 65, of Lemoore, then hit Marisa Hamar who was also driving westbound.
Travioli was pronounced dead at 2pm and Huey had sustained major injuries. The other three drivers all had minor injuries, CHP said.
