Pedestrian hit by Girl Teen Driver

Visalia --- A 14-year-old boy was hit by a teen driver as he was crossing a street in Visalia Monday morning, authorities said.
The La Joya Middle School student sustained moderate head injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital where he was later declared to be in a stable condition.
Reports indicate that a 17-year-old girl was driving a 2008 Mercedes around 3:15 p.m. when she hit the boy who was in a crosswalk on Linwood Street.
The girl was identified to be a student of El Diamante High School. She was not injured.
Identities of the teens were not released.
