Truck Driver hits Detective’s Car, Flees

Fresno – Suspected drunk driver Antonio Gil, 20, has neglected a stop sign prompting him to hit a detective’s unmarked vehicle at around 9p.m., Sunday.
Detective Leonard Cabrera was driving along Olive and Arthur Avenues when Gil struck his car.
Detective Cabrera managed to call for help despite being astounded by the impact. A police helicopter then tracked the vehicle driven by Gil.
Officers arrested Gil on charges of hit-and-run driving and DUI. He was taken to Fresno County Jail.
