TRUCK ACCIDENT: Pickup driver injured in Lakeville Highway Crash

Petaluma – A pickup driver suffered moderate injuries Friday morning when his vehicle went off Lakeville Highway near Old Lakeville No. 3, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the report, the driver was reaching for something inside his cab when his vehicle veered off the highway at about 5:30 a.m. and crashed into an 83-foot part of the guardrail and nine posts.
The driver’s name was not immediately released by the CHP.
The vehicle accident caused heavy traffic to early motorists in the area. Officers closed the highway’s southbound lanes and redirected traffic one at a time. The lanes were reopened 20 minutes later.
