Police Car Hit by DUI Suspect

Rocklin – A 67-year-old female driver has rear-ended a Rocklin Police Department car Wednesday night, police said.
Rosemary Newell, who was showing signs of intoxication, hit the police car as they were in the drive-through lane of a McDonald’s at around 10:20 pm. No one was injured in the accident and there were little damage on both cars, according to a statement by the Rocklin Police Department.
Newell was arrested and booked for DUI charges but was later released with a promise of court attendance for her charges.
