HIT and RUN: Runaway Driver Wanted for Hitting 9-Year-Old Bicyclist in Madera

Madera - Authorities are in search for the driver who fled after hitting a 9-year-old boy, who was riding a bicycle in front of his house along Road 24.
According to reports, two people were seen inside a small four-door gray or silver sedan.
The vehicle was last spotted moving north at an excessive speed. Witnesses said the car sustained damage to its windshield, right and front side.
Reports stated that the boy was rushed to Community Regional Center to receive immediate treatment for life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are trying to determine if alcohol and speed were involved in the accident.
