Solo-Vehicle Crash Kills Driver

San Diego – A 23-year old driver died from injuries after being involved in a single-car crash Monday night in Valencia Park
According to San Diego Police, Jerome Chartel Pamplin of Spring Valley was driving his Ford F-150 at around 10 p.m. westbound along Imperial Avenue when the accident happened.
Pamplin was reportedly speeding and failed to assess a curve causing him to ram into a fire hydrant and a utility pole. He died minutes later in a hospital after suffering major head injuries, authorities said.
