DUI: Teen DUI Suspect Arrested After Striking Cyclists in Torrance

Torrance – Police have arrested a teen driver, allegedly driving under the influence, after striking a group of bikers in Torrance about 7:15 a.m. Sunday.
At least two cyclists sustained injuries, one of them in critical condition, after 19-years-old Jaclyn Andrea Garcia of South Bay swing over her car to their group who were going south on a residential area.
The seriously injured biker, Adam Rybicki, 49, of Rancho Palos Verdes, was rushed to County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and was diagnosed with multiple broken bones and brain injury. He was now under comatose condition.
Garcia, who has also been involved in four traffic felonies since 2009, was arrested for suspected DUI offense but later released after posting $100,000 bail.
